How to Acquire & Trade VXV — A Step-by-Step Guide

For trading VXV on the CoinMetro exchange

Step 1 — Creating an account on CoinMetro

a) Go to https://go.coinmetro.com/account/signup to create an account. Enter your email address — make sure you can access it on your smartphone — and choose a password. Agree with the terms of use and privacy policy, and click “CREATE MY ACCOUNT”

b) W pop-up (see below) will appear and you will be asked to use your smartphone to click on the email confirmation. This will be necessary to complete the KYC (Know-Your-Customer) process.

c) After clicking on the email confirmation, you’ll be asked to fill out some personal information to start the KYC process.

d) You’ll be also asked to answer the following questions:

e) You will be asked to access your camera and take a selfie and a picture of your document (passport or driver’s license) to verify your identity.

f) You’ll be asked to provide a phone number for phone confirmation. Type in your phone number, get the message code and verify it. Once done, you will now have to wait for CoinMetro to review your application, normally within 10 minutes.

Step 2 — Depositing Fiat and Crypto

a) Go to https://go.coinmetro.com/markets or click “Markets” in the navigation bar on top of your screen. Click “Deposit”.

b) Select the currency you wish to deposit and proceed with the process.

Note: Since VXV is paired with USD and ETH, if you would like to purchase VXV with another currency, you will have to convert it to either USD or ETH before being able to purchase VXV.

c) If you are depositing USD, you will have to verify your Address, Phone Number and Social Security number to proceed. You will receive an email as soon as your information is processed.

d) If you would like to deposit ETH to purchase VXV, selecting ETH under currency will pull up your Coinmetro ETH wallet address to send it to

Step 3 — Buying VXV

a) Click “Exchange” in the menu at the top left corner

You will be directed to the following page:

b) You’re going to see a search bar on the bottom left. Type VXV in and select “All” to
choose the pair you would like to use

c) In order to buy VXV, you can create a Limit Order (your order will be filled when a seller matches your limit price) or Market Order (your order gets filled instantly at the lowest price offered)

d) Limit Order

You’ll see your order below the Order Book and you’re able to cancel or modify it before it gets filled.

e) Market Order

You can check your previous orders on the Trade History by clicking “Trades” and then “Yours”

Step 4 — Withdraw VXV

a) Go to https://go.coinmetro.com/dashboard or click “Dashboard” in the navigation bar on top of your screen. Click “Withdraw”.

b) Select VXV, enter your wallet address and choose the amount you want to withdraw. (your wallet must be compatible with custom ERC-20 tokens, like Metamask, MyEtherWallet, MyCrypto, Trezor or Ledger)

c) You can check your transaction history by scrolling down on the dashboard page and selecting the fields under “Transaction History”, like in the example below:

d) Go to your receiving wallet to make sure that your VXV have arrived safely.
